The Great Achievement of the Cent nry
"THE BOOK OP KNOWLEDGE" is the simplest method of education ever presented to the world.- It possesses in
marked degree the power to awaken and stimulate the growing minds first and foremost because it is illustrated with
more than ten thousand delightful educational pictures each of which tells a story in a .striking and artistic manner and
impresses the Important knowledge of the world upon the mind in a way that can never be forgotten. The world of knowl-
edge ia also a world of romance and when the two things can be combined as in this unusual work there is not a man
woman or child who can fail to become interested or fair to find Out that which he wants to know. The various subjects
nature science history biography art poetry literature and vocational subjects are presented to the reader in such a
manner that the profound truths and the great facts of the world of knowledge are absorbed from the delightful descrip-
tions and from its thousands of striking and educational pictures.

Gentlemen:
Tbe special arrangement ot "THE BOOK OF KNOWLEDGE" appeals to children of all ages covering a wide field of information
of the world and its affairs in a concise manner. It Is written In the language that children can understand and unlike most books
of encyclopedic nature. Is sure to be read with pleasure and profit
One of the great values of this book I find to be that children can use it without being compelled to seek adult guidance.
Boards ot Education librarians and parents of children will find "THE BOOK OP KNOWLEDGE" to be of Inestimable value as
a reference work. It will teach the children how to think and prepare them in their lessons for the schools.
I cheerfully recommend them. Very truly yours
OLIVE M. JONES President
A New Guide Especially Arranged for School Work Hal Been Published
At the beginning of the school year teachers frequently ask the children "How many have 'THE BOOK OF
KNOWLEDGE'?" If the answer shows that a majority of the pupils have it she knows that she will have
their co-operation for the year for much more satisfactory work and the standing of the pupils will be higher.
With the aid of the NEW GUIDE which contains an outline of graded problem-project work the children
can readily understand their school work and they can more easily prepare themselves for it. '
SPECIAL SALE
This store will have a special sale of "The Book of Knowledge" for this week ' This is an opportunity to
