ton Baseball club announce that the
Mat sale for the exhibition contests be-
tween the Chicago White Sox and the
Houston Buffaloes next Saturday and
Sunday afternoons at West End will begin
Monday so as to avoid any possible rush
the latter portion of the week.-

Each day of the coming week will bring

consignment of men more than half the
1000 needed to fill the 23rd division to
tta war strength may arrive.
Tha commander of the S3rd will form
the men Into provisional regiments where
they may ba trained by the best officers
of tha camp. These training regiments
will ba tha primary class as it were. In
tha great military college of Logan. As
the men show ability and aptness tbey
will be transferred to those units where
their presence Is needed and where eacn
man may find his highest efficiency.
First of course will be rlie quaran-
tine tha men will be kept separated from
the rest of the troops until it is certain
there Is no dlsesse among them.
After that under officers specially se-
lected tha men will learn their duties will
be ariVen intensive training until they
have caught up with their comrade more
advanced in tha art of modern warfare

This week's bill is very good and covers
a wide range. The Mennlnx sisters lead

Lester and Moure are pomediana of high
order and have a clever line of repartee.

song- 'Tlpperary" wa the favorite of
the evening and the entire audience of
about 2600 soldiers Joined In on the chorus.

Arrangements have been made whereby
there will be community singing every
Tuesday evening at i o'clock at the Lub-
