ers of that Industry to Investigate the
practicability of eliminating the 11-
hour day. Judge Elbert H. Gary aatd
Friday in prefacing his annual address
as proldent of the American Iron and
Steel Institute.
He discussed the White House con-
ference at length saying that the pres-
ident was relying on the steel men
themselvis to make tho "adjustment In
