probably fatally injured at 7:45 p. m.
Saturday by an S. u. S. lire company
truck driven by Jodie Tucker a
negro. A charge of assault by auto-
mobile was filed against Tucker in
Justice Campbell K. Overstreet's
court. The negro is m jail.
The accident took place at McKin-
ney avenue and I low ling street. The
negro told officers he saw Shival
crossing the avenue ahead of him and
swerved to the left to avoid an ac-
cident. In doing this he "side-swiped" a
Cadillac car driven by S. H. Oman.
