dent of the Houston Ketail Mer-
chants' association died suddenly at
the Hotel Waldorf in Dallas Tuescfny.
Mr. Taylor bad been traveling for
commercial firm in New York for
some time. His family had iuet come
tn Houston to re-estublish residence
here. He was to have joined his
family in Houston in a few days and
planned to make this his headquar-
ters. He Is survived bv his wife: two
Inughters. Mrs. Charles ('. Polls nf
Sherman anil Misa Dorothy Taylor of
Houston: two sons. limner W. nnd
Floyd W.' both of IloiiHton; four
brother. John II. Edward E. and
Frnnk (:. of Houston and Georae W.

paper man whose investigatlona bad

licenses after grand Jury Investigation
in this State came to blows today
with eclectic physicians In the county
court building.
Tbe altercation waa .outside the
grand Jury room where a master waa
hearing appeals of physiciaoa from
revocation of their licenses.
As Brundidge came out of the Jury
room. It ia alleged. Dr. Iaidor Yochel-
man one of. the appellant a struck
at him. The pair were surrounded
by other appellants. Yochelman be
gan to upbraid Brundidge and tbe lat
ter struck him. A county detective.
failing to quiet Yoohelman ejected
him from tbe building.
In the meantime Dr. Maurice Rur-
stsn of Bridgeport and others among
the appellants continued in a Hash

bate. Urpresentative Nelson of Wis-

signed "to relieve a bunch of Wall
street financiers of a bad bargain."

"big capitalists have found it a fail-

chase had been recommended by
