ing these state officials to different
parts of the state to attempt to
bolster the falliig fortunes of the
administration They are all
away from their posts of duty but
every mothers son of them will be
here on the first of the month to
draw their salaries The taxpayes

out an amount for unearned

for the entire year The people
of Texas will tolerate this
peripatetic government for one

of Texas will assert itself and the
present taxeating nonproductive

freight rates on Kansas salt and
Colorado salt is very misleading
But one car of salt was charged out
