Y. M. C. A.
We, the members of the Y. M.
C. A. are not altogether proud of
our record up to this time; but
we hope to make a better one in
the near future. Our chief aim
now is to increase the attendance
at the regular meetings. The
blessings that we get out of
them must be passed on to our
fellow students. Let us as mem-
bers be resolved to make a rec-
ord this year of which we will
not be ashamed. Remember, we
as true Christians must be about
our Master’s work.
The Y. M. C. A. extends a
cordial invitation to all young
men of the S. W. T. N. to come
and occupy the place we have
reserved for you. Every meet-
ing will give you something that
will be of personal benefit. The
organization is here for you, not
SOME-ONE ELSE. A word of
cheer and brotherly love awaits
all who come.
Come to the Y. M. C. A.
Surely no one is yet too great;
Truly no one can there meet fate;
So put on your best thinking
mood,
And come after your share of
the food.
SENIOR CLASS PLAY
The Senior class had a meet-
ing last Saturday and decided
to have a Senior play. We are
glad to note that the class this
year are trying to again establish
the record that was established
by the classes of the years past.
If you are a Senior put all you
have in any action taken by the
class. It can’t do you any harm
and will certainly do good for the
school.
At the meeting a committee
was appointed to confer with a
faculty committee in selecting
the play to be played. This
faculty committee will, also select
the students who they think best
to take the various parts of the
play. We are all looking forward
to the time when actual work
will begin on the play proper.
