To Our Reagan County Customers:
Our Interest is to become an integral part of the development of this county,
not only in food supply but the needs of the community in all catagories of busi-
ness and social life.
Our management team is acquainted with the opportunities and problems of
an oil and ranching community such as Big Lake, because of our close association
through business connections since 1937.
We purchased George Cheatham’s store in June of 1971, retaining his person-
nel, also moving into the community some new families. We purchased Willis
Short’s Big Lake Grocery of Feb. 1, 1972 in order to provide an adequate supply of
quality meat in Cheathams Grocery Store, prepared and cut by experienced well-
known personnel.
Wc believe that residents of Big Lake are entitled to buy quality products at
a competitive price with any other market in a radius of 100 miles. We intend to
maintain Big Lake Grocery as a first class convenience store, open long hours
and bringing services to the community not to fore available.
We welcome your inquiries and appreciate your business.
Sincerely,
The Management
