We were not really gossiping, you understand. Just making a few
observations about a mutual friend. That she surely was looking great.
That she had been wearing some stunning clothes. Which were over-
shadowed by her own radiance.
Well, I smugly opinioned, that proves the point. What point? came
an exasperated response, what are you talking about?
The point of Moore’s Law, I responded with great dignity.
Moore’s Law? Moore’s Law? came echoing back. With a hoot here and a
holler there.
Exactly, I pontificated, not disturbed by the raucous jibes.
Arduously developed after years of people-watching and with certain
secret sensitivities, I explained, Moore’s Law holds that sudden
improvements in personal appearance - outward and inward - are directly
related to learning AND accepting that you are loved!
Boiling it down, I really believe that when people learn they are
loved and let themselves accept the love, then the wonder of it causes a
glow starting on the inside and working outward.
For all the world to see and marvel over. And talk about.
There’s something about knowing you are loved that is nearly
indescribable. A being-satisfied-with-creation sort of feeling.
That starts with a small tingling and grows until the bells of Adano
are vibrating the world with the glad news. And the knowing is only a
sip. A wee taste of what can be, when the knowing is taken over by the
surrender to and acceptance of.
That’s when the human soul explodes with celebration. When love is
accepted.
Could it be?
That the reason so many of us are happiest during this season of the
year is because it reminds us. Really reminds us.
How much we are loved.
By God.
Who sends His message.
By a baby born in a manger.
Born that I might live.
And love.

“This is a beautifully written

provide inspiration for many in
our celebration during this sea-
son,’’ Pastor Jack L. Moore
states.
The choir is directed by Carolyn
Sanders with Judy Cole as the

Spill Cost
$75 Million
The total cleanup bill for the
tanker Amoco Cadiz, which spilled
almost 1.6 million barrels of oil on
the French Coast last March is
estimated at the equivalent of $75
million, according to a report
issued by a special French
Senatorial Commission.
The tanker owner, a unit of
Standard Oil Co., of Indiana, was
“entirely responsible’’ toward all
victims and the French State.
