has drawn widespread interest among
the old timers who may continue to
sign up through today, Thursday. Dec,

20. at 5 p.m m the I >oyle Marek Gym
at Port Aransas High School Admis-
sion is $1 tor students and $2 for
adults
The "summit" is the Alumni Games
when former Marlin varsity players
take on the upstarts on the 1997-98
varsity Marlin squad, while over 30
alumni or residents muscle up to the
junior varsity Marlins.
F„ach alumni team will carry a rosier
of 15 players. The deadline to sign up
is today. Call Coach John Grammcr at
749-7248 during the day or 749-4594
this evening to be included on either
roster When leaving messages, play-
ers need to leave their names, tele-
phone numbers and the years they
graduated from high school
Former varsity players who have
signed on to play, and the years they
graduate are: Mike Fitch, 19%, David
Perkins, 1986, Brian D’Herde, 1997;
