CEDAR HILL TODAY
Today Newspapers gift guide
.
wants to sell local businesses
By ANGEL MORRIS
Today Staff
Today Newspapers wants to
give local business owners the
gift of profits this holiday sea-
son, at no cost to the business
itself.
In preparation for its annual
series of holiday gift guides,
Today Newspapers seeks sub-
missions from local businesses.
“Let us tell readers what
your business will offer patrons
between Thanksgiving and
Christmas, in the way of gifts
or sales,” Today Newspapers
co-owner Kim Petty said.
Submissions need not be in
story format, but should in-
clude as much detail as possible
about the business and its prod-
ucts, as well as any special hol-
iday offerings the store will
provide.
Businesses may also submit
photos of their stores and/or
products they wish to feature.
“We would prefer that your
information and photos have a
holiday-related theme,” Petty
said.
Individuals who prepare
unique gifts are also invited to
make submissions about their
items.
“We would love to hear from
individuals who make special
crafts or have interesting holi-
day hobbies, as well,” Petty
said.
Submissions will be printed
on a space-available basis, and
preference will be given to
those who advertise within the
gift guides, but advertising is
not required.
“As the hometown paper, we
want to encourage people to
shop in Cedar Hill and keep
those dollars in our city,” Petty
said.
“We also want to let readers
know of the great gifts and bar-
gains right in their own back
yard.”
Submissions may be sent via
an e-mail to duncanville
@todaynewspapers.net. The
deadline is Friday, Nov. 18.
Call 972-298-4211, ext.
216, for more details.

WITH YOUR TOOTHBRUSH!!!!
Are late snacks your undoing? Here is a tip
that really works to help you avoid those late-
night blood-sugar spikes. Brush your teeth
right after dinner! Psychologically, you’ll be
much less likely to want to eat again, especial-
ly anything sweet or crunchy We would love
to have you be a guest in our practice.
