VĚSTNÍK — WEST, TEXAS
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
It seems that in the past we háve
been having some conflict in setting our
dates for our Distriet meetings, so they
v/ould not interfere with one another,
the result being that we would háve two
distriet meetings on the same dáte, and
therefore the attendance was not as
good at eifcher districts as it would háve
been if there was only one meeting on
that dáte.
Of course the ofíicers of the Supreme
Lodge always divide so that some would
attend each meeting, but there háve
been times that certain business re-
quired the presence of some at both
meetings, and of course that was imi-
possible. Also I know of several active
members who would háve liked to at-
tend meeting in other districts, but were
deprived of this opportunity because
they could not be in two meetings the
same day.
I would like to suggest a remedy for
this by offering my Services to you, when
you officers clecide on the dáte of your
meeting, to senď me the selected dáte
and I will notify you by retům mail
whether or not the dáte had been select-
ed by another distriet, of course, this
is only a suggestion, and I am, by no
means, trying to telí you when to hold
your meeting, but I do know that there
has been some ill feelings when districts
set their meeting dates on the same
dáte, which was previously announced
by another distriet.
Up to dáte, I háve the following dates
for Distriet Míeetings:
Distriet No. 3 — Youth Activity Day,
June 29th.
Distriet No. 4 — Distriet Meeting, Aug-
ust 3rd.
Distriet No. 1 — Distriet Meeting, Sep-
tember 28th.
Distriet No. 7 — Distriet Meeting, Oct-
ober 26th.
With best wishes to all I remain,
Fraternally yours,
JOE B. HEJNY

Somewhere in the calendar is the dáte
when your last will is to be read —
when certain facts háve to be faced —
when your řaimily will be forced to make
certain decisions. You can help them
tremendously if you will face those same
facts now and make such decisions as
you can for them.
