VĚSTNÍK-- WEST, TEXAS
LODGE 56 CORPUS CHRISTI
Dear Readers,
I didn’t attend the last meeting be-
cause I was out of town.
At this time I want to congratulate
Queen Sister Elaine Joyce Elles and
Brother Jimmy Elles, her escort both
members of Lodge 123 Bennview, Texas.
Elaine, I wish you the best of every-
thing during your reign. I know that
someone worked reál hard to help you
earn this title.
Every basketball game that the Tu-
loso-Midway girls played háve been won.
We hope to win all of theni so we can
go to the statě. I also play on the team
as a guard, the position which I háve
played for the past three years.
Two members of Youth Club56 were
expelled by the director. At this same
time there were several other members
v/ho should get the same punishment.
Iťs not fair to expell two members v/hen
the others are not any better manner-
ed. I am boping that this unpleasant
situation will corrected in a satisfac-
tory manner for all eoncerned.
The “Youth Guidance” printed by the
Supreme Lodge states: “That children
should be instructed to respect the
rights of both friends and neighbors at
all times. A youth director who is sin-
cere in working with young people can
direct their energy into useful chán-
nels of work and play.”
I congratulate my sister Frances for
being elected youth leader of Lodge 117.
I am sure that this lodge will háve a
successful youth club.
Fraternally yours,
Dorothy Juřica, Princess

ATTENTION all YOUTH OF THE
ROBSTOWN LODGE
Dear Readers:
In the September meeting of Lodge
No. 117 Robstown I was elected Youth
Leader. Háve received materiál and
Youth Guidance from Brother Joe B.
Hejny, Vice-President of the Supreme
Lodge. As of today a leader has been
elected and at the same time a fund has
already been started for Youth Ac-
tivities. At the District 7 Meeting Sister
Betty Juřica donated a cage with two
parakeets in the name of Robstown
Lodge. From this item proceeds will be
given to the Robstown Lodge as soon
as a Youth Club can be organized.
I want to urge all of the youth, par-
ents and friends to attend the December
6 meeting at which time a Youth Club-
will be organized. Everyone is welcome
even non-members.
I am planning entertainment for all
of the youth. I will be expecting all of
Wednesday, December 2, 1959
you and am anxious to meet eac-h of you
personally.
Please make the meeting so we will
start a good Youth Club from the be~
ginning, Bring all of your friends and
neighbors, because everybody is wel-
come. A Youth Club isn’t only for
SPJST members but for non-members
as well. Mark this dáte on your calen-
dar and you will háve a wonderful time.
Leťs all get behind this and make it
a big success. I know if we get started
we will háve a wonderful club. We will
elect our officers at this meeting.
Parents, don’t hesitate to bring the
children regardless of age because there
are different age groups. I will notify
each farmily that has children that are
interested in Youth Club work, See you
then. :j i ..
Fraternally yours,
Frances Juřica
