riouhcément regarding some ehanges
in my previous. letter. I statéd that
our lodge f;iš: postponing' its meeting
idaťe and that the Sokols will háve a
‘dirmer on April 28. Oii the 28th, Dallas
Lodge 401 of the Western Bohemian
Ffáterhai Assoéiatioh (ZCBJ) is cele-

brating the opening of their new lodge
halí. In our lodge and in Sokol, there
are a good many ZCBJ members, and
they would like to attend this open-
ing.
The change is that we are having
our functions on April 21st, diimer,
meeting, and all , Sister Mary Laz~
novsky tells me that some lucky SPJST
member will be awarded the “dooř
prize.” The ladies are to bring enough
food for their farnily for the dirmer.
I congratulate the Dallas ZCBJ upon
the. compietion of their new Lome. In
Ennis, the Sokols. rnake their halí
available to meeting of SPJST Lodge
135, Ennis ZCBJ, RVOS 147, and 135.
The Sokol willingly cooperates with
•these organizations because the Sokol
practices solidarity among our Czech
organizations. We know that worth-
while objectives are not attained by
talk, but by cooperative effort,
Remember Sunday, April 21st: the
dinner, followed by our SPJST and
Sokol meetings. See you there.
Our good SPJST and Sokol member,
Anton Janoušek is ill, after never hav-
ing been to see a cltíctor in his whole
life. He becaine ill last week, and is
at home under a doctoťs care.
We all hope he overcomes his illness
and. reeovers completely. He’s really
too strong to “bueklc under,” We un-
derstand he’s better. So, Brother Jan-
oušek, také it časy. We wísh you ťne
best of everything.

SFKING MEETING OF DISTRICT V
Brothers and Sisters:
District Five will conduet its Spring
meeting on April 21 at host Lodge 88,
1140 Robbie Street, Houston 9, Texas.
The meeting will be convencd at 10:00
a.m. and recess at 12:30 p.m. for the
iioop meal. The afternoon session of
the meeting will reconvene at 2:00 p.m.
The meeting will be very important
and I request the presence of all
lodgěs in District Five to háve repre-
sentation. Fifty-year-bembership em-
bíenis will be presented, the election of
officers for District Five will be held,
reports of District Officers will be
made and many other pertinent issues
will be discussed.
The presentation of fifty-year-rnem-
bership emblems will be made in the
afternoon session and the following
named Brothers and Sisters are in-
vited to the District meeting: Lodge
