is an annual meeting and will be
lengthy, it will convene at 1 p.m, and
not 2 p.m., as is usuaily the čase. There
■will be some important issues to dis-
cuss, and reports given on the re-
sult of the district meeting hosted by
our lodge, whích should be of interest
to the members.
The meeting will then go into the
lelection of officers and commíttees for
the coming year, and delegates to the
convention in June 1968. Members are
urged to attend and elect officers who
will do justice to thelr respectlve Of-
fice, and delegates representing our
lodge for the best interest of the
SPJST.
Followíng the business session, a so-
ciál will be held, and it will be the
customary covered dish supper, served
buífet style. We kindly ask the sisters
to bring thelr favorite dish, such as
meat, sandwiches, salad, relishes, pas-
tries, .etc. There will be plenty of cold
drinks and coffee for everyone.
Mark Nov. 12 on your calendar, and
pnake an effort to be present, and
please remember that the meeting will
be called to order promptly at 1 p.m.

LODGE NO. 27, MOULTON
Dear Members,
This is to remind you of our next
meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 8th, at
7:30 p.m., at the American Legion Halí
here in Moulton. We want as many of
you as possible to come to this meet-
ing. There will be a free appreciation
supper after the meeting for all those
members who helped at our picnic.
Tliose who could not come to the pic-
nic, are invited also. Come and enjoy
the evening with us.

LODGE NO. 24, CYCLONE
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Our next regular meeting will be
held Nov. 12tli at 1:30 p.m. This is a
very important meeting. Election of
officers for 1968 will be held and we
would li ke to see a good turnout of
members fer this election. Also at this
meeting delegates for the 1968 con-
vention will be seleeted, so this is a
pretty important meeting, which con-
cerns all the lodge members.
At our last meeting it was decided
that we would háve our annual mem-
bership lunch at this November meet-
ing. The lodge will provide sausage,
brcad, and coífee, and all the nice
ladies who come are asked to bring
along some kind of pastry. We enjoy
our annual lunch, so you members pian
to come and attend this lunch, and en-
joy some good fellowship.
See you all then.

Dear Members and Friends:
This is to remind eaeh and every-
one of our members that our next
meeting will be hold Sunday, Nov. 19th,
at 2 p.m. This will be our annual meet-
ing, and refreshments will be served
after the meeting. The ladies are asked
to bring some sort of pastry, such as
kolaches, pies, or cakes. The refresh-
ments will be followed by a sociál, so
all you members, come on out and

LODGE NO. 185, MOULTON
Dear Readers and Writers:
Autumn has come to Texas, with a
norther and one-half i.nch of min,
which was welcomed by everyone here.

We lost anotner good inember of our
lodge, Sister Anna Havlík. Slie passed
away in Pasadena and was laid to
rest in the Moulton Catholic Cemetery.
Three sons, Maurice, Raymond, and J.
J. survive here, as well as 17 grand -
children. Pallbcarers were members of
Lodge 165: Willie Fojt, Jerome Vašek,
Roman Zidek, Victor Zidek, Alvin Mik-
ulencak, and Chas. Grieve. Sister Hav-
lík and her husband, John, did many
good things for our lodge, which will
be treasured by the rest of us for many
years to come. We v/orked with them
for a long time. May their souls rest
in peace. We extend our sympathy to
their survivors.
Our next lodge meeting will be held
on Nov. 12tli at 2 p.m. Please be there.
