“Happy Birthday” was sung to Mar-
garet Rice, Rose and Mary Ann
Horelica, Olita and Louis Hanuš, and
Milton Kalousek, Annie Vrla won the
dooř prize. Aťter the meeting, aiti en-
joyed the delicious snacks, and o-ur
thanks go to Margaret Rice, who do-
nated the beverages.
Mrs. Birdie Hilsher and Mrs. Helen
Valcik donated the nice prizes for the
Randy K Dances. These prizes were
won by Carolyn E. Skarke and L. D.
Doreck, Jr.
There is another dáte we would like
for you, to mark on you.r calendar,
and that is Tuesday, September Ist,
for that is when the famous U-Neta
Polka Band of Dorchester, Nebraska
will be at Lodge 88. This is the banďs
first appearance in Houston, and it is
the most traveled polka band of Ne-
braska! You can hear some of their
famous records played on the Czech
Hour, Rádio Station KFRD, Rosenberg,
Dancing will be from 8 to 12, but if you
doiťt dance, it surely wilfl be worth
your time to come and listen to such
wonderful music.
The Lee lise Orchestra will play for
our dance this Saturday, August 29th,
and I think yoiu; really would en.joy
dancing to this good music! Doiťt for-
get our Barbecue Dinner this Sunday;
by now you know what good barbecue
Harley Cox and Frankie Stem,bera
make! Also doiťt forget the XJ-Neta
Orchestra Tuesday, Sept. Ist from 8
to 12 p.m. This might be your only
chance to hear this good band!

hard work and time you gave us dur-
ing our Youth Aktivity Day in Bryan
on August 16tli.

coronation. If you want a picture of
