Oct. 29th. This will be in honor of the
Oct. 28th foundlng of the First Czech-
oslovak Republic. This one-act comedy,
"Zloděj dite” (‘‘Child Thief”) will be
presented in conjunction with another
one-act play about life in a Czech vil-

these two plays háve be.cn presented,
since they wer.e written specifically in
honor of the above-mentíoned occas-

The comedy, "Child Thief,” will
prove to us that lies are all short-lived.
A young couple lied to their sick and
wealthy aunt for several years that
they had a son, Pepiček. The aunt de-
cides to will all her property to the
non-existent little boy. After her re-
covery in a resort area she makes a
sudden visit to the young eouple’s
home where a lucky thief, coincident-
ally named Joe, talks her out of her
fortuně. Both the thief and the aunt
leave the couple behind in great des-
pair.
You won’t want to miss these plays.
See you at Lodge 88 on Oct. 29th!
