The halí was decorated with red and

the names of the cities of the South-

palm trees.
Refre&hments of potato chips, dips

absence of our Youth Leader, Mrs.
Louis Kudrna, who was on her way to
her own tropical island, California.
To all the parents and friends who
helped us chaperone this night we
give our speciál thanks.

won the dooř prize.

refreshments were served. Also, our

Fin glad they háve joined and ev-

Well pretty soon school will open

LODGE NO. 54, WEST
Dear Members and Friends,
We held our monthly meeting on
August 2 at 2:30 p.m. The meeting was
called to order by President Rose Ma-
rie Marek. There were very many
members present and also three
visitors.
We decided to meet at our halí at
10 a.m. then eat at Youngblooďs, go
ta the show, and then to Westview
Piayland. So we brought along plenty
of money. We paid for the dinner for
the members of the Youth Club. The
parents came along and had fun also.
The picnic was held on August 9. This
was a lot of fun.
Well, I will close for now.
Rose Marek,
President,

LODGE NO. 6, COTTONWOOD
Dear Members and Friends,
The Cottonwood Teen Club held their
regular meeting on August 2, 1964. We
discussed a swimming party, which
is to be held at the swimming pool
August 10, 1964. We also discussed
ways to earn a little extra money.
Our first project is that when anybody
gossips during the meeting he is asked
to put a nickel in the jar. We also
háve a little working project. The
adults clean up the inside of the
halí, and the Youth Club thought it
would be a good idea for us to clean
the outside. After the discussion the
meeting was closed.
The Vouth Club wants to send their
sincire sympathy to the John Krizan
family.
Fraternally yours,
Ruthie Schuetz,

LODGE NO. 73, SEYMOITR
Dear Readers,
School will begin before you know
it, so I will write while I háve a little
time. We had a good peach crop, but
the birds got their share, too.
We had a good time at the last
lodge meeting where we played base-
ball.
In the near future we pian to go to
Six Flags Over Texas, before school
starts. School vacation will soon be
over.
I’m busy getting ready for our dis-
trict meeting which will be held the
last Sunday in August.
Sunday the 9th, the lodge members
will havc a supper at the park.
