RESOLUTION OF SYMPATHY
We, the undersigned Resolutlon
Committee of Lodge Karel Jonas No.
28 in East Bernard, Texas, 1ti behalf of
our membership, wish to express our
deepest sympathy to the bereaved
family of our deceased lodge brother,
LOUIS ČERVENKA,
who passed away suddenly at the
Home of M'r. and Mrs. Herman Laidolf,
after suffering a heart ailment Wed-
nesday night, April 15th, at the age of
42 vears.
The deceased was born in Frýdek,
Oetober 5th, 1921, to Mr. and Mrs
Frank Červenka. He was a widower.
In 1932 the Červenka family moved
to East Bernard, and in 1944 he moved
to Wallis where he made his home. He
was an auto mechanic at the Joe
Červenka G ar age.
Brother Červenka was a member of
the SPJST Lodge No. 28 East Bernard,
and was a good member.
Funeral Services were hold Friday.
April Hth from the Knesek Funeral
Chapel in Wallis, at 8:45 a.m. follow-
ed by a Requiem High Mass at the
Guardian Angel Church in Wallis. with
Rev. Alois Nesvadba officiating. In-
terment was in the Catholic Cemetery
in Wallis.
Surviving are his son, Darrell Wayne
of Wallis; father, Frank Červenka of
Wharton; two brothers, Joe of Wallis,
and August of Weimar; í-ive sisteťs,
Mrs. Lillian Hobbs, of Wharton, Mrs.
Mary (Louis) Ondruch of Sealy, Mrs.
Molly (Herman) Laidolf. Mrs. Bertha
(Jtae) Chumchal, and Mrs. Francis
(Bili) Hanzelka of Eeast Bernard.
Pallbearers were members of the
Wallis Fire Department.
May our departed brother rest in
peace.

We, the undersigned Resolution
Committee of Lodge Karel Jonas No.
28, in East Bernard, Texas, in behalf
of our membership, wish to express
our heartfelt sympathy to the bereav-
ed family of our deceased lodge broth-
er,
LOUIS ADOLPH BRDECKA,
who passed away in a Wharton hos-
pital after an extended illness, at the
age of 50 years.
;; Funeral Services for Brother Brdecka
were held at 2 p.in. Friday, April 3rd at
the E. and R. Church of Beasley. Rev.
Lloyd Reimken officiated.
Bro. Brdecka was born in 1913 and
was reared a farm boy in the Cotton-
wood community. He lived there un-
til 1937 when he married Willie Mae
Fojtik of Beasley and moved to Mid-
Ifield. In 1945, he moved to Rosenberg
where he resided unt.il his death. He
was well known, and was a life-long
resident of Fort Bend County, and
had many close friends. He was a reg-
ular church attender and was active
as a leader in many organizations un-
til his health failed.
The deceased was a member of our
SPJST lodge for a number o*f years,
and was a good member.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wil-
lie Mae Brdecka; son, Louis De Laire;
daughter, Sandra Garal of Rosenberg;
sisters, Miss Bessie Brdecka of Ash-
down, Ark., Mrs. Janie Walzel of Beas-
ley, and M'rs. Della Kubica of Cove,
Ark.; brothers, Jerťy and Frank Brde-
cka of Rosenberg, and Adolph Brdecka
of Ashdown, Ark.
Burial was in the E, and R. Cemetery
in Beasley Funeral Services were under
the direction of Garmany Co., Funeral
Directors.
Paiioearers were nephews James Da-
vis, Eddie Walzel, Jerry Brdecka Jr.,
Eugene Brdecka, Calvin Lamensky,
Johnny Scott, Robert Kubica and
Frank Kubica.

Lodge No. 35 at Elk. Texas, in behalf
of our membership, wish to express
our heartfelt sympathy to the be-
reaved family of our departed sister,
IRENE FAREK.
who passed away on April 24, 1964 at
the age of 53.
Funeral Services were held at 9:30
a,h. Monday at St. Joseplťs Catholic
Wednesday, May 13, 1964
Church in Belimead, Rev. J. B Walsh
officiated, with burial in St. Mary’s
Cemetery, West. Rosary was recited at
7:30 p.m. Sunday in Wilkirson and
Hatch Chapel.
She is survived by her husband, A.
G. Farek, and onc son, Donald Z. Farek
of Killeen; three brothers, Albin Smaj-
strla and Raymoncl Smajstrla, both of
Elk, and Eugene Smajstrla of 530 No.
31st, Waco; seven sisters, Mrs. Frank
Maddox of 425 Wayne Drive, Waco,
Mrs. Fred Holub of Elk, Mrs. Harry
Urbis and Mrs. Edward Nemecek of
West, Mrs. John H. Rogers of Odessa,
Mrs. Robert Cimningham of Houston,
Mrs. William II. Yowell of Killeen; two
grandchildrcn, several nieces, and
nephews.
To the loved oncs our sympathy; to
our lodge sister, we wish eternal rest
and her memory will be honored unto
eternity.

RESOLUTION OF SYMPATHY
We, the undersigned Resolution Com-
mittee of Lodge No. 48 Vyšehrad, wish
to express in behalf of all the mem-
bers of our lodge, our heartfelt sym-
pathy to the bereaved family of our
deceased sister,
MRS. JOE A. MAREK,
who died Tuesday night, April 28, in a
Taylor hospital.
She was born August 4, 1885 at In-
dustry, Texas. She was a resident of
Taylor for 70 years She was preceded
in death by her husband, and a son,
Joe Marek.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs.
Norris D. Kerr and Mrs. Tom Sprin-
gate of Austin, Mrs. Elo Davis Jr. of
Granger, and Mrs. Harry Lewellen of
Temple; six sons, Ted Marek of Tay-
lor, Ervin Marek, and Raymond Marek
of Taylor; Frank Marek and George
Marek of Portland, Texas, and Henry
Marek of Corpus Christi; a sister, Mrs.
Clara Stalmach of Taylor; three bro-
thers, Joe Hejl of Taylor, Henry Hejl of
Temple and. Adolph Hejl of San An-
gelo; 24 grandchildren and seven
great-grandehildren.
Funeral Services were held Thurs-
day at the Taylor Brethren Church,
with the Rev. Josef A. Bartoň and the
Rev. Gordon Hejl officiating. Burial
was in the Taylor City Cemetery.
