I T Boyles departed this life on

His Illness was only a few days,
yet for months we realized that
his stay here would not be long.
His mind and consciousness re-
mained with him until the last
sad moment of his life. If he rela-
ted the end had come, he never
mentioned it
Whether his journey thither was
only one short flight across the
great ocean of death, or whether
his departed spirit Is still afloat
upon the silver seas of life we
do not know. Whether upon that
December morning after death he
aw a glorious sunrise in splendor
above a celestial horizon, or
whether he has Joined that in-
numerable hast of departed saints
to wait the resurrection we do not
know but being acquainted with
him so long and knowing his be-
liefs In Christianity, I am per-
suaded to believe that somewhere
his soul is anchored In the har-
bor of love, safe, eternal in the
hands of his Saviour.
