From The Editor
We can see, by the increase of interest
in many of the letters of our members,
that convention time is drawing nearer
and many seem to háve realized that
there is not much time for them to také
action if, indeed, they pian to do so.
When you read these lineš, the month
of March will be here, and, if weather
predictions are correct, March will,
indeed, come in ‘like a lion’ because a
very abrupt cold front is due for our State
of Texas over the weekend of March lst
and 2nd. When we visited the District V
SR banquet in Houston the weekend of
February 23rd and 24th the fruit trees
and all vegetation were showing signs of
Spring; we hope this arctic blast of cold
weather does not deter the fruit trees,
especially! Of course, we must také
whatever Mother Nátuře sends our way.

We are trying to help the Lodge No.
133, San Antonio Convention Planning
Committee all we can with their
information and publicity; we know what
a chore that is and, we hope that in our
smáli way, we can assist them in their
task. We can well remember that, in
1960, when Brother Kleprlik, Valka and
others took on the task, it was no picnic.
We wish the Committee much success
and, rest assured, we will help all we can.

You will notě, that on the back page, of
our Vestnik, are listed names of some of
our sales representatives (SRs) and, in
this issue, beginning with those SRs who
attended the first seminars held in 1980
and those happened to be held in District
II. It is this editoťs understanding that
the names of the SRs who attend
seminars in their districts and lodges will
be listed. Také notě of this and attend
your SR seminars.

You will find a letter, in the Features
section, from Brian Allen Vaniček,
secretary of the UT Czech Club in Austin
about the Seventh Annual Conference of
Czech Students and Teaehers of Texas,
to be held Saturday, March 22nd. Please
read it and try to attend, whoever can.
