The Catholie Church of the
Assumption in West was the settíng for
the marriage of Charlotte Baník and
Bruče Richardson Saturday, August 16,
1980 at 1 p.m. Parents of the coupie are
Mr. and Mts, Albert L, Baník of West
and Mr, and Mrs, W.C. Richardson of
Houston.
Given in marriage by her father, the
bride wore a formal bridal gown of
handelipped chantilly láce with a
portrait neckline and full bishop
sleeves. Delícate bead work aecented
the bodice and skirt front, The full láce
skirt had an apromeffect front and
swept into a full cathedral train. A
garden hat with a sílk rose and veiling
completed the Southern belle attlre, The
bridal bouquet consisted of white
orchids, yellow baby roses, and deep
purple violets surrounded by greenery
and baby’s breath. A rosary, a gift from
the bríde’s mother, was intertwined in
the bouquet. The bride wore a string of
pearls which belong to her maternal
grandmother, Mrs. W.Á. Rauschuber
of West.
The ceremoný was highíighted with
the exchange of rjngs,by the use of the
groonťs maternal grandfatheťs wed-
ding band.
Honor attendants were Cynthia
Baník, maid of honor, and Denise
MeCauley, matrón of honor, both
sisters of the bride. Šerving as
bridesmaids were Brenda Chapman,
Sondra DietéťiC^ Monica Kučera,
Deborah Vardíman and Jodie Wilson.
M’Tissa Richardson, sister of the
groom, was the junior bridesmaid.
The bridesmaids’ gowns were in
huckleberry organza with portrait
necklines, fitted bodices, and skirts
edged with a wide ruffle which gathered
to form a bustle at the center back.
White láce fans decorated with purple
fiowers and white ribbon, white gloves
and picture hats completed the maids’
attire.
Lynn Brown served as best man.
Groomsmen were Darrin and Eddie
Baník, brothers of the bride, Mike
MeCauley, brother-in-law of the bride,
Joe Dunlap, Russell Dieterich, and
Mike Ward. Maccus Watson served as
junior groomsnf||h, and Jason Brown
was ring bearer.
The marriage was witnessed by
Edward Rauschuber, godfather and
uncle of the bride, and Sue Newman,

Mrs. Bruče Richardson
aunt of the groom.
Music foť the ceremoný was provided
by Michael Archer, who accompanied
the bride, her sisters and her brother on
the organ.
Alan Hoffman, Jim Wetzel, Jim
West, and Frank West ushered tbe
guests for the ceremoný. Houseparty
members Kar lát ‘Éfoelscher, Karen
Hykel, Debbie and Teresa Laubert, and
Mjssy Watson greeted the guests at the
church and the reception.
The reception was held at West
Fraternal Auditorium and was hosted
by the couple’s parents.
The newíýwed Rícharosons’ pian to
live in West after a brief honeymoon.
The groom is employed by the
Missouri-Pacific Railroad as a conduc-
tor. The bride is a student at McLennan
Community College studying for a
degree in secondary education.
