Hosting our delighíful Youth
Achievement Day was Lodge No, 185,
New Braunfels, The members of the
lodge are to be commendeď for their
cooperation and hard Work that
contributed to the success of ťiits YAD.
Cindy Tepera, our outgoing queen,
traveled from Corpus Christi, along
with her mother. Cindy was our MC and
very graciously relinquished her crown
to our new Queen Dianě Lyssy. Thank
you, Cindy!
Thirty-five youth registered in 117
crafts, plus 20 talent, 6 royalty, and 3
scrapbook entries.
The youngsters and their parents are
exténded a speciál thanks for this
participiition. The distance traveled
from Corpus Christi, Robstown and
Florésvilie added up even more
' meanitigful to me.
The program presented was most
outstanding. The talent nurnbers were
well-presented as; well as the royalty
speeches and the crafts displayed many
hours of work also.
Attending from the Suprerne Lodge
was President Nick Morris. We were
sorry none of our District Vil officers
were present, The parents and friends

The success of a YAD comes from the
efforts of many. Speciál recognition
goes to the folíowing: Our very qualified
judges, tabulation crew, stage manager
(Charles Schandua), awards (Bob
Bayer), MC Cindy Tepera, youth
leaders, parents and the youth
members, and our hosting lodge
membership.
