After our meeting, a very enjoyable
day, Joyce Whatley (Dona Hubenak’s
daughter) gave us a story of the trip
that Dona and some of her family
made to Czechoslovakia and then
showed some pictures taken in
Czechoslovakia. It was enjoyed by all.
Joyce, you certainly did agood job and
the presentation was great. Acalendar
brought from Czechoslovakia was won
by Mary Ann Gibson.
It was my pleasure to attend the
“Officers’ Work Shop” of SPJST at
Lodge No. 24, Cyclone. We wish to
thank Lodge No. 24 for giving the use
of their lodge for the meeting. I, as a
young person, grew up in that area, so
it was very nice to see some of my
friends. The meeting was very
informative, and I must say everyone
must háve enjoyed all the good
kolache and coffee, and the dinner, too
w;as very good. What a nice way to
enjoy the day! The officers who don’t
attend these meetings are certainly
missing out on a good meeting and
lots of fraternalism.
Fraternally,
