to understand him and his ambitions
for the business. Then Billy started
to také as much interest as he would
if he were the boss himself. When he
did that, he was in.
Iťs amazingly easy to move ahead
in any form of seljing — if you just
think about the human side of your
selling job. Ask yourself today,
“What would I do, how would I work
at my selling job, if I were the boss?”
Let your answer guide you to
greater success in selling, whether
you work in a retail establishment or
seli for a wholesaler or manu-
facturer. Many of the men who
achieved fame and fortuně in
business owe their rapid rise to the
fact that they went all out to help
build their employer’s business,
doing everything they could no
matter how menial or how big.
This boss is human, too. His own
success depends on your success.
Think about his objectives, go all out
in helping him by doing far more
than he expects of you, and you’re
sure to be a success.
