was conducted but officers did
not locate the vehicle.
A couple of hours later, a wom-
an in a neighborhood near Wich-
ita Falls High School reported to
police that a man in a black Ford
Fusion stopped in front of her
home and made inappropriate
remarks to her as she was bent
over her vehicle getting items
from the trunk. A Wichita Falls
Police Officer drove the neigh-
borhood looking for a vehicle
fitting the description. The of-
ficer located the second stolen
vehicle parked in the parking lot
of Wichita Falls High School. A
woman was in the vehicle and
told the officer who the driver
was and which house he had
entered. Officers entered the
house and located the man and
placed him in custody. The man
had cuts and scrapes on his body
which was later determined he
obtained from burglarizing sev-
eral structures on Hwy 79 in Ar-
cher County. Archer County of-
ficers went to the Wichita Falls
location and the man was taken
before a magistrate before being
transported to the Archer Coun-
ty Jail. The man faces numerous
charges which will all be sorted
out on Wednesday. It is believed
a second suspect found wander-
ing down US 281 on Tuesday
afternoon may be involved in
the morning’s burglaries. The
second man was found by a DPS
Trooper and checked. He was
wanted out of Wichita County
for Burglary. He was arrested
and transported to the Archer
County Jail as well. A full inves-
tigation is in progress.
