Matilda Anderle, 96, of Naza-
reth passed away, Wednesday,
August 29, 2012 in Tulia. Mass
of Christian Burial was held
Monday, September 3, 2012 at
Holy Family Catholic Church in
Nazareth at 11:00 AM with Rev.
Ken Keller officiating; burial
followed at Holy Family Cem-
etery. Rosary and vigil was re-
cited on Saturday, September I,
2012 at 7:00 PM at the funeral
home. Arrangements were by
Colonial Funeral Home of Dim-
mitt.
Matilda was bom August 21,
1916 in Windthorst, Texas to
Charles and Mary Lindemann.
She has been a resident of the
Nazareth community since
1963. She married Alvin An-
derle on August 13, 1947 in
Windthorst. She was the Naza-
reth ISD’s custodian from 1964-
1986 and was also the librarian.
She was a member of the Holy
Family Catholic Church, Catho-
lic Daughters of America, Chris-
tian Mothers and the American
Legion Auxiliary, and she taught
CCD classes.
She is survived by two sons,
Greg Anderle and his wife Dr.
Margaret Thunnond Anderle of
Amarillo and Stephen Anderle
of Nazareth; two daughters,
Philomena Garza of Roanoke,
and Monica Musick and her
husband Chuck of Amarillo.
Two brothers, Bennie Lindeman
of Windthorst and Joe Linde-
man of Archer City; two sisters,
Ida Mae Schumacher of Her-
eford and Gertrude DeButts of
Lebanon, Oregon. Nine grand-
children and ten great grandchil-
dren and numerous nieces and
nephews.
She is preceded in death by her
husband, Alvin Anderle, three
sisters and six brothers.

September 11 thru 15, 2012
It’s time for Texas and Okla-
homa residents to be preparing
to bring their entries for the
2012 T/O Fair Creative Arts &
Home Skills Competition.
Registration for items to ex-
hibit in the 2012 Texas-Okla-
homa Fair will take place at the
Wichita Falls MPEC on Mon-
day, September 10 from 8 a.m.
to 6:30 p.m. All competitive
items must be in place by 7 p.m.
when judging will begin. This
year the “Peoples’ Choice” ro-
sette, which is detennined by
visitors’ voting, will again be
awarded at 7 p.m. on Saturday,
September 15.
Categories for competition
include quilted items, needle-
work, fine art, photographs, arts
& crafts, agricultural produce,
baked goods & candies, canned
products, and scrapbooks. For
a more complete description of

All items entered must have
been created by the exhibi-
tor within the past year, except
quilts which may have been
made within the past 5 years.
There is a registration fee of $2

The Founder Lions Club’s
TEXAS/OKLAHOMA FAIR
runs Sept. 11th thru 15th at the
Wichita Falls MPEC, at 5th &
Burnett. Exhibit hall hours are
6 to 10pm weeknights and 1 to
10pm Saturday. Adult admis-
sion is $5 and children $2. All
livestock shows and events at
the Bridwell Ag. Center feature
free admission.
24-hour Information line is
720-2999. The Fair Grand
Opening at 6pm, Tuesday, Sept.
11th features free admission to
all military families. Lions club
officials will be joined by Shep-
pard AFB leaders and the Gold
Coat Ambassadors as they are
led thru the exhibit hall by the
Wichita Falls High School band.
Author David M. Sargent, Jr.
of the Doggie Tails Series and
the Feather Tail Series will be
coming to Archer City School
for grades Pre-K -4 on Tuesday,
Sept. 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the elem.

will be able to purchase books
and have them autographed.
