Large numbers of people
were present for church
services throughout the coun-
ty last Sunday—Easter.
Why not start a habit of
church attendance ? Attend
again this Sunday.
* *
One million people are op-
erating motor vehicles on the
streets and highways of Tex-
as without a vadid driver’s
license according to State De-
partment of Public Safety
man J. I. Anderson.
Why not remove these
drivers from the streets and
roads ?
Since it is illegal to oper-
ate a vehicle without a valid
driver’s license, it would be
a matter of checking on the
drivers. While the Depart-
ment maintains it is in dire
need of additional workers,
the same crew operating a
radar speed check could halt
each and every vehicle for a
check of the driver’s license.
This plan wouldn’t be the
least bit popular with person’s
without valid driver licenses.
Some folks in a hurry, might
not like the delay . . . but pre-
venting their being involved
in an accident would be ap-
preciated.

this reason I have filed as a candi-
