STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible to be
the inspired; and only infallible
and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one
God, eternally existent in three
persons: God the Father, God
the Son, and God the Holy
Ghost. We believe in the deity
of our Lord Jesus Christ, in
His virgin birth, in His sinless
life, in His miracles, in His
vicarious and atoning death, in
His bodily resurrection, in His
ascension to the right hand of
the Father, and in His personal
future return to this earth in
power and glory to rule a thou-
sand years. We believe in the
Blessed Hope, which is the Rap-
ture of the Church at Christ’s
coming. We believe that the
only means of being cleansed
from sin is through repentance
and faith in the precious blood
of Christ. We believe that re-
generation by the Holy Spirit is
absolutely essential for personal
salvation. We believe that the
redemptive work of Christ on
the cross provides healing of
the human body in answer to
believing prayer. We believe
that the baptism of the Holy
Spirit, according to Acts 2:4,
is given to believers who ask
for it. We believe in the sanc-
tifying power of the Holy Spirit
by whose indwelling the Chris-
tian is enabled to live a holy
life. We believe in the resurrec-
tion of both the saved and the
lost, the one to everlasting life
and the other to everlasting
damnation.
An invitation is extended to
everyone to come and worship
with us, especially those who
, do not attend church anywhere.
Fulltime pastor hasn’t been
' elected.

Thanksgiving Day will he a happier,
more meaningful day...
ttt’s a story we all know and love—the first1
JL Pilgrim Thanksgiving. The excitement
in their little homes must have been pretty
much as it is today—the tantalizing smells
of roast turkey and pumpkin pie—the bustle
and rush of eager children—it must have
J>een a wonderful day!
But before the Pilgrims sat down to their
feast they observed the true meaning of ■
Thanksgiving. They all gathered together
in their meetinghouse to give thanks for
the good they had received, for survival
through a long year of hardship, and to pray
for the strength and courage to keep theirj
faith in this strange, new land.,

This Thanksgiving, why not take your
family to your house of worship. A quiet
hour of prayer and thanks will make your
holiday so much more meaningful.
Wherever you are... whatever your be-
liefs may be ... . take time to offer your
words of thanks... just as the Pilgrims did
more than 300 years ago.
