Mrs. M. A. Winter and Mrs.
Jack Isaacks spent Wednesday
in Houston shopping.
Mrs. Ednai Jarreil is in St.
Joseph infirmary recovering
from an operation.
Horace and Doris Lee cele-
brated their birthday with a
party at their home Saturday
afternoon. There were many
guests present, and all enjoyed
the lovely refreshments.
Mi'S Karlene Kersh, student
nurse at Memorial hospital in
Houston was a Humble visitor
Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Marsh
visited Mr. and Mrs. R. A.
Bowers this week in Caldwell,
Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. A B. Casey of
Goose Creek, Texas visited in
Humble Sunday and Monday,
Stt Sgt. A. B. Bagby was in
Humble a couple of days this
week visiting home folks.
Mrs. A. W. Ludtke is visiting
her daughter in Refugio this
week.
Sonny Crawford left Tuesday
for the army. .
Ed. Walla left for the navy
Tuesday.
Frank Long is reported to be
very bad off in the Baptist hos-
pital in Houston.
Mrs. Arnold visited in New
Caney Wednesday.
Clifford Wiederhold left for
the army Thursday.
Mr. Alton Arnold and family
of Goose Creek visited his fath-
er and mother in Humble Sun-
day.
Mr. Julius Hebert of Corpus
Christi spent Tuesday night
in Humble with home folks
Mrs. Matthews and family.
Mrs Bettie Hebert and Mr.
Henry Gunn of Houston visited
Mrs. Matthews and Mrs. May'

town. In his letters he tells of
recently having seen Dick Keller
and Eastham Lopez.
