ORDINANCE NO, 13-1985
Amend Ch. 8, Art. IV, Division 5, "Mechanical Code" as follows:
APPLICATION FOR LICENSE
Section 206 (b) (Delete in its entirety and insert:)
Applicants for mechanical contractor's license shall make application
to the Mechanical Board of Appeals. The applicants shall also submit
to an examination prescribed by the Board, covering provisions of this
code, and also covering technical information necessary to perform the
duties of a mechanical contractor.
Upon completing the application and answering 70% of the questions
correctly, a license shall be issued to the applicant.
Should the applicant fail to make a grade of at least 70% on the
examination, he shall wait for a period of at least thirty (30) days
before submitting to a re-examination.
