Mama s open Sunday
by Draw Martin
What does a dorm student eat
for dinner on Sunday nights when
he has no means of transporta-
tion? Dora’s is closed and the
only restaurant in the area is
Mama's, but everyone knows that
Mama's isn’t open on Sundays.
There is only one thing wrong
with all of this. Mama’s is now
open on Sunday nights.
This may come as a shock to
those of you who practically live
at the small pizza parlor at the
south end of campus. It seems as
if the universal truth of Mama’s
being closed on Sundays is about
to be overturned. On a trial basis
Mama’s will be opened from 4:00
to 10:00 p.m.
Mark Streater, the restaurant's
manager said, “The students like
the convenience of Mama’s since
the college cafeteria is closed on
Sunday nights. Hopefully we will
draw enough businesses in the
next three weeks to remain open
on Sunday nights."
If you wish to have another
option opened to you on those
long Sunday nights Streater
smiled explaining that Mama’s
would appreciate the business
and perhaps if the turn out is
sufficient enough remain open
through the Sundays of next
year.

Wesleyan athletics did noth-
ing to disappoint their fans this
year. Therefore, it is not sur-
prising that several players walk-
ed away with many accolades,
namely recipients of conference
and district awards.
We start with women’s basket-
ball where Susan Siegmund was
the big winner. Siegmund walk-
ed away with the NAIA Scholar

If you're a guy about to turn 18, you mutt register with Sslsdivs Ssrvice at ths post office.
Thera'i really nothing tpocial about it. All you do it fill out a simple card. It only takes five minutes.
So don't be the only one who hasn't done it. Register with Selective Service. It's quick. It's

A Positive Point
About Breast Cancer.
Now we can see it before

And when it’s 90% cur-

of saving the breast.
The trick is catching it
early. And that’s exactly
what a mammogram can do.
A mammogram is a sim-
