Delightful Whist Party.
Mrs J. W. Cummins and Miss
Jeanette McKain entertained a
large number of their friends at
whist Wednesday evening in
honor of Miss Yearger of Louisi-
ana. .
The iadies’ high aepre prize,
a cut glass spoon tray, was won
the gentlemen’s prize, a silver
cigar holder. The consolation
prize, a jewel case, was won by
Mr. Green. Puncher’s favor
was awarded Miss Blevins.
A two course luncheon was

House rolls, fried chicken,
schrimp salad, tomatoes, with
mayonaise dressing, pickles, ice
tea, cake and cream.
