A nice way to have a Christmas
tree ready and not to have to go
hunting one is to plant a cedar
tree in a bucket and keep it from
year to year. Four years ago, the
Lewises at Lewis Store planted
the Christmas tree they had used
in their store for Christmas dec-

oration and if has been in use
each year since. Ethel and Linda
have decorated their store very
pretty for the holidays.

“THIS IS MY LAND”
“This is My Land,” published by
Random House, for Martin Caidin
with photographs by James Yar-
nell, will be used in the comin?
Fine Arts Club meeting on Jan-
uary 5, 1965, at 7:30 p.m., at the
Bantex, Theatre.
This beautiful book, published
in 1962, is the excellent work of
Mr. Caidin, who wrote the des-
criptive materials for it, and
James Yamell who furnished the
photographs.
There is no other book quite
like it. America’s most success-
ful vacation writer aPd a leading
aerial camera man have combined
their talents to produce a unique
and exciting pictorial tour of the
United States as se$n -from the
air. It is wonderful!
The public is cordially invited to
attend the January 5, show at the
Bantex Theatre. Many of the
scenes in the book will be shown
at the evening show, presented by
representatives of the Beech Air-
craft Company, and sponsored by
the Bandera Fine Arts Club.
It is free, so make plans now to
come and bring all the family,
and see our wonderful homeland
from the air.
