• At least a 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale

Purpose of the Program
The Program prepares students to successfully pass the TExES exams. It is
necessary for you to study Content areas and Pedagogy before teaching in
Texas. The State Board of Education Certification (SBEC) requires students to
complete an internship before granting the Standard Teacher Certification.
How to Apply
• Complete an application for admission to the Teacher Certification Center
• Submit official transcripts from ALL institutions attended
• Submit a NON-REFUND ABLE $50 application fee
