Phillips played an arrange-
ment of “Jesus Saves” by
James Bastien on the piano.
A devotional was brought by
Bro. Michael Heuermann for
the residents from the book of
John. This service to Upshur
Manor is appreciated greatly
by many residents and staff
members.
On the evening of Thurs-

the Liberty District Associa-
tion of the BMA of Texas. The
meeting was a rally for Jack-
sonville College and began at 7
p.m. The Jacksonville College
Choir attended and performed
several popular songs, includ-
ing “Our God,” “Celebrate,”
and “10,000 Reasons.” The
college president, Dr. Mike
Smith, spoke to the association
members about Jacksonville
College. A potluck dinner
was provided in the fellowship
hall after the meeting. Many
Grice residents attended this
event, and everyone enjoyed
hearing about the college and
fellowshipping together.
Lastly, here’s what the Old
Farmer says, “I don’t really
know ‘bout this weather. It
didn’t used to jump around
like this when I was grow-
ing up. I guess it just kind of
changes over time. I do know
it’ll be a wet year, so get your
lawnmowers and weed-eaters
ready. I’m excited; spring is
almost here!”
