Messrs K.K.& K.B.Leggett. Abilene Texas,Sept 18.1919. Abilene Texas. Gentlemen: I report to you results obtained from a careful exam- ination of the following described tract of land to determine its petroleum indications. Your holdings consist of Sestions,23-1.-1-10--7.- and the Uopt North /2.of Aiion 8. Block 8. S.P.Railway Company Survey; and the East 1/2. the North West 1/4.of Section 58.Blin4 Asylum Survey, all4 in Callahan County Texas, edeept the parts of Sections 23 and 56,which are in Taylor County,Texas. The whole of this tract lies somnletely inside a clearly defined giant Oil Structure whick extends slightly North East by South West for an indefinite distanoe;and showing every indication of containing petroleum in commercial quantities. Surrounding and bi-secting every section and making specific chemical test for pe production,I found that there appears not to be a single square foot of your holdings that does not show oil paying quantities. Indeed it is most un-usual to find as large a tract as yours is, all of which is on Structure; and commercially oil-bearing. I can not say which Section is best,so desirable and uniform is the av- erage productiveness. I recommend development believing you will receive large returns for your investment. The fact that wells near your lands have all struck more or less oil, shows you are in or near an oil-bearing area;the further fast that you are definitely inside and well up on the Structure, puts your proposition almost if not quite in the category of proven territory. I am very truly and resp,y yours,
