GARY BLAKE
'I would study harder
if 1 could live my high
school years over.' says
Gary Don Blake. 17-
year-old son of Mr. and
Mrs. Eugene Blake of
1110 Texas Street. Gary
was born August 7.
1963. in Big Lake.
Gary loves to play
tennis because it keeps
his mind off other
things. Other hobbies
are riding a motorcycle
and hunting. Gary has
participated in tennis
and T1ASA Club and has
been Who's Who in
math. Gary feels that he
will be remembered as
being 'crazy" through-
out his high school
years.
"With the subjects as
hard as they are. it's
prepared me for the fu-
ture by knowing now
that it' s going to be hard
in the working life."
says Gary about RCHS.
His favorite teacher is
Mr. Fisher; "He works
you twice as hard and
you learn more." Gary's
favorite year was his
senior year. He plans to
move to San Angelo to
work.

Eighteen - year - old
Sheri Allred is the
daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Gerald Johnson.
Sheri moved here her
junior year from Dem-
ing. New Mexico.
Sheri has served as
drum major, RCHS band
officer, and nep club
officer her senior year.
She also was elected
class favorite. Sheri's
hobbies include playing
the guitar, clarinet, and
bass clarinet, and
writing songs. She
is very proud of being
a part of RCHS and its
band. "This school,
more than any other, has
taught me how to be a
resnonsible person."
Sheri's high school
days were "some good,
some bad, but all
memorable. As I look
back now, 1 have thor-
oughly enjoyed each
and every one of them."

da Johnson, and Gloria Rodarte.

Mrs. Judy Beam, secretary to Principal Richard
McReavy, has completed her Midland College courses
in business. She received her General Studies De-
gree May 16, 1981. after completing 60 hours of hard
work.
Band Director Keith Wood received his MMA De-
gree. Master of Music Art. from West Texas State
University on May 16, 1981. Mr. Wood had already
received his BME and has been working enthusiastic-
ally to receive his master's. For his thesis work, ht
transcribed for band a piece entitled "Midnight in
Mexico", which is the fourth movement of the 'Air-
borne Suite" by Paul Creston.
