Well, I thought last
week was this week, so
I’m a week behind or
ahead of myself. Thank-
fully it does not mat-
ter, maybe, because this
is this week, I think. It
possibly might be next
week if this is last week.
Hmmm!
The sign-in book is
one of a kind! Nowhere
in the state of Texas could
you find such unusual
writing in so many differ-
ent styles. In other words,
it is Greek to me!
Wednesday was
chicken fried steak day
with 48 signers. There
were nine take-outs and
13 guests. Mashed taters
and gravy, green beans,
rolls, salad bar and peach
cobbler finished off this
exceptional meal. The
peach cobbler was the
perfect dessert for the
day. There was even some
crust left for some of us to
snack on. Then there is al-
ways pickled okra on the
salad bar.
Dianne Dalton was
visiting for the day. It is
really good to have her
home for a few days.
Troy Fulton has been
coming since he found
out how good the food
is. He probably isn’t old

enough to be a member.
Alan Warminski came to
eat with his mom. Leia
Srader comes to eat with
her dad, Morlan regular-
ly and she eats and gets
on the road to work real
fast. Kendra Cartwright
came with me, but her
mom stayed at my house
to do some things for
me. That’s the way life is
sometimes.
Now after having 48
on Wednesday, we had
31 on Friday with seven
of those being take-outs
and just three guests. The
moon must have been
in the wrong place. The
pulled pork was really
good, so you missed out.
And so we go on to
Monday with the baked
crunchy chicken, brocco-
li-rice casserole, beans,
salad bar and cake for our
tasty meal. The count was
37 with six take-outs and
seven and one half guests.
Kat and Zada Mar-
tin and Kayla Martin
and little two week old
Adrian were visitors for
the day. The baby was so
sweet and his feet are so
small his socks fall off.
Phil Miller came over
to eat with Joe and Jean.
The coaches came from
school. Eric and Steph
Alston and Billy Hall
took time out to come eat
this good food.
Lindsey Been with
Accolade was on site tak-
ing blood pressure and to
check to see if our hearts
were beating. Congratula-
tions to her on her forth-
coming marriage! She or
rather they are going to be
married in Jamaica. We
do wish them well and
hope their trip is fantastic.
Since the year is
coming to the last three
months, I will explain
membership again. The
age of 55 makes you a
Senior Citizens and your
meal is $6 with take-outs
at $6.50. If you are a guest
or under age 55, the meal
is $6.50 with take outs
being $7. Dues are $10
per year, due Jan. 1,2014.
If you are over a hundred
years old, meals are free
if you come to visit us. So
- come on down! There is
lots of talking and visit-
ing going on all the time,
so see you there!
God Bless!
