Arrangements have been completed for “GOLIATH
THE MIGHTY” to appear in our parking lot during the en
I tire week beginning Monday, August 22 through Saturday,
August 27. Billed as the largest gorilla ever exhiibted on
tour in the U. S., this magnifcient specimen was a feature
attraction at the New York World’s Fair. He stands over six
feet seven inches tall, weighs 510 pounds and has an arm
span in excess of eight feet. His daily average consumption
of food, about 40 pounds, consists of milk, fresh fruits,
vegetables, bread, cheese and four to five pounds of cooked
choice lean beef. In addition to his diet, Goliath gets four
different vitamins plus a tranquilizer when he travels.
Goliath the Mighty will be on exhibit daily for the en-
tire week in our parking lot. Special half price discout cou-
pons will be distributed free by Silsbee Packing during hs
[appearance. DON’T MISS SEEING ONE OF THE RAREST
ANIMALS IN CAPTIVITY.
