February, 1968, in Lumberton
Independent School District, of
the County of Hardin, State of
1968, petitions praying for an
election to be held in the Lum-
berton Independent School Dis-
trict, situated in the County of
Hardin, State of Texas, to de-
termine whether the Lumberton
Independent School District, in-
corporated for free school purpo-
ses under the laws of the State
of Texas, shallbe abolished; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that said

Monday, January 15. Her sister,
Mrs. Vann Wilkerson, is caring
for the two younger Worthy chi-
ldren, Wade, age 5, and Bradly,
age 6 months.

The Rev. Delbert Lamb and Mr.
and Mrs. Lynn Wilkerson attend-
ed the Baptist Evangelistic Con-
ference in Dallas Monday throu-
gh Wednesday of last week. Mr.
and Mrs. Wilkerson gave a re-
port on the conference at First
Baptist Church Sunday night.
Visitors in the Vann Wilkerson
home the past week were Mrs.
Wilkerson’s mother, Mrs. E. A.
Stevens of Huntington, on Fri-
day and Mr. Joe Hoffman of Si-
lsbee on Sunday.
Mrs. Lee Sumrall and Jason are
recovering from the flu.

Jack Gardner home.

dner went to Livingston to visit

Emmett and Earl Braziel. (Jack
and Inez advise people to stay
off that Big Sandy road after a
logging operation; they got stu-
ck, but were in walking distance
of help.)

a stroke. She is somewhat im-
proved and back in the Tyler
Co. Nursing home.
