A large and enthusiastic meeting
was held at the court house at Mar-
shall on Friday night for the purpose
of organizing a Blalock Club to for-
ward the interests of Dr E B Bla
lock in his candidacy for Lieutenant
Governor Hon M P McGee was
elected president of the club with
Hon M B Parchman as secretary and
Hon Dan Heyn mayor of Marshall
as chairman of the campaign commit-
tee I

Memorial Service Next Sunday
Itanhoe Lodge No 15 Knights of
Pythias will hold Its annual memorial
services at the city hall on next Sun-
day at 3 p m The program will
consist of appropriate music and
short talks on the three lessons of
Pythlanlsm Following this service
the graves of the departed brothers
will be decorated
All members of the lodge are ex-
pected to be present and visiting
brothers and the public are cordially
