The Swine and the Flower
Oh me I saw a huge and loathsome sty
Wherein a drove of wallowing swine
were barred
Whose banquet shocked the nostril and
the eye
Then spoke a voice Behold the source

I fled and saw a field that seemed at first
One glistening mass of roses pure and
white
With dewy buds mid dark green foliage
nursed
And as I lingered oer the lovely sight
The summer breeze that cooled that
Southern scene
Whispered Behold the source of

GREAT SERVICE TONIGHT
Great Closing Fellowship Service at
the Christian Church One Hun-
dred and Sixty Added
Hundre ds of people came out last
night through the rain to hear Evan
gelist Lockhart The interest was
never greater than now Eight were
baptized at the close of the service
Mr Lintt sang again last night and
will sing tonight His solos have de
lighted all who have had the privilege
of hearing them
Last night Mr Lockhart spoke on
the text What shall I do with this
Jesus who is called Christ He said
that it was necessary for every man
and woman to accept or reject Christ
There is no middle ground You may
reject Him as did those people in the
long ago or you may accept Him as
the Son of God and your personal
Savior He is able to save unto the
uttermost It is impossible to elude
the issue You cannot get away from
Jesus As a man he stands without a
peer in all history As a teacher He
stands head and shoulders above all
others In the realm of morals He is
the only perfect life But it is not as-
a mere man however great you may
concede Him to have been that I want
you to consider Him but as the Son
of the Living God come to save a
dying world He comes seeking to
enter into your life that He may bless
and save The question to you there-
fore is a personal one and the most
important which it shall ever be your
privilege to consider What will you
do with this Jesus
