Sand Grove, Nov. 11.—This com-
munity has had a lot of rain for the
past two weeks but this morning
is clear and cool. Several are
killing hogs.
Mrs. Nell Duckett and daughter
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Al-
ton Reed, have been visiting Mrs.
Duckett’s brother and sister-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Bankston
Mr. Joe Castleman and Cleburn
McNiel of San Antonio spent the
week-end in the A. D. iJlcNiel
home. Mrs. Castleman is staying
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Alvin McNiel, until Mr. Castleman
can find them a place to live in
San Antonio.
Wilford McNiel left Sunday for
San Antonio to work.
Mrs. W. E. Bailey, of Kilgore,
and son and daughter-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. D. B. Bailey and son, of
Athens, were week-end visitors in
the W. T. Baggett and Curtis
Jackson homes. Mrs. W. E. Bailey
remained for a few days stay to
visit other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Horace Woolverton
of Madera, California, have re-
turned home after several days
visit here in the home of his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Woolver-
ton.
Mr. and B. L. Jackson returned
home Friday from Madera, Cal-
ifornia, where they had gone to
visit relatives and to work for a
while.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Gates have
moved on the H. S. Vaughan farm.
We welcome them to this commun-
ity.
