Rockdale Visit Is
Crucial for Milam
It’s Bloodrnobile visiting time
again.
Byron Cook, chairman of the
Red Cross Bloodrnobile visits to
Rockdale, issued that remihdci
j this week. The Milam unit woll
j be in Rockdale on January 4, with
j operations to be set up at the First
1 Baptist church.
Quota for the visit is 70 pints,
! Cook explained. He said that Mi-
I lam county is now even with 11 s
! quota and that the results of the
Rockdale visit will determine how
i the county will begin the final six
months period of the “blood year ” ;
The Red Cross blood year runs
from July to July, Mrs J B Jan-
sky, regional blood chairman, has :
explained. “Thanks to successful
visit in Cameron on the day bc-
fore Thanksgiving, Milam is end-
ing the first half of the blood year;
abreast of its quota. Now we must
start into the final half of the
blood year with a good turnout in
Rockdale,” it was explained.
