Robetown — wait until next
week to get into the pennant
chase. Games October 21 will
see Port Lavaca host Kings-
ville, Beeville host Cuero and
Robs town host Aransas Pass.
All teams have completed
non-district schedules. Kings-
ville is in first place with five
wins and no losses,. Port Lava-
ca and Beeville are tied for
second with 4-1 marks and Rob-
stown holds fourth place by vir-
tue of a 3-1-1 record.
Port Lavaca’s perfect season
record was ruined last Friday
when El Campo came from be-
hind a 14-point deficit to win
16-14. El Campo is now rated
number three in the top 10
Class AAA teams in the state.
