James William “Bill" Harrison, a native of Pied-
mont, Oklahoma, has been hired as Cuero’s new city
manager, It was announced today by Mayor Bill NamL
Harrison, 42, father of three children, comes to Cu-
ero from Seward, Alaska, where he has served as city
manager since May 1962.

getown, Texas, replaces Cuero’s
first city manager, James R.
Fulton, who resigned June 12
after two years of service here.
Harrison was city manager
trainee at Georgetown from
1951 until 1953.
He served as city manager
at Edinburg from 1953 until
1955.
Lovington, New Mexico, was
his next stop. He was that
community's first city mana-
ger. Harrison went to work
there in 1955 and remained
two years.
He was city manager at
Okmulgee, Oklahoma for a
short time before moving on
to Baytown. Texas, where he
remained as manager from
1958 until 1959.
It was then that he accept-
ed toe city manager's job at
Seward, Alaska, where he has
