To Present Drama
The San Antonio Little Thea-
tre starts the New Year with
the poignant drama, ‘Come
Hack, Little Sheba" opening on
Friday evening. January 11th
at the San Pedro Playhouse.
This is the play which won :

viously unknown dramatist, Wil-
liam Inge, was voted the out-
standing playwright of the year
in the annual poll of dramatic
ctitics conducted by Variety.
SALT is announcing a now
schedule of playdates. Opening
li ghts will now be on Friday
and each play will have nine
performances. The schedule run
as follows: Friday and Satur-
day nights, January 11 and 12;
production then resumes on
Thursday, the 17th. and runs
through Friday and Saturday,
with a matinee performance on
Sunday at 2:30 p.m.; the three
final performances are on the
following Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday. Curtain time is 8:15
p.m.
'Come Back, Little Sheba" is
the story of a middle-aged mar-
ried couple who must keep cling-
ing to each other out of a sense
of ihe failure of their lives. Doc,
the husband, because of a you-
indiscretion, ' is forced to
marry Lola, his w’ife, and give
up hopes of a medical career, |
settling for the mediocrity of a;
small chiropractic practice Lo-
