ist for the wedding music.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. Her bridal
gown was a formal sheath of
embossed satin with a rounded
neckline and long sleeves tap-
ering to points at the wrists. A
coat formed a chapel length
train. The bride’s bouquet of
lace was topped with white sat-
in roses trimmed with pearls
and silver leaves.
Miss Lydia Sanchez of Cuero,
sister of the bride was maid
of honor. Her bridesmaids in-
cluded Mrs. TVinidad Rocha,
Jr. of Point Comfort, Mrs.
Harry Stobb, Miss Rosemary
Hill, Miss Emily Sanchez, all of
Victoria; and Miss Tonle Jaso
Following the ceremony, a
reception was given by the
bride’s parents in St Mark’s
fellowship Hall.
The bride’s table, laid with
a cloth of white satin and over-
laid with a bouffant net cloth,
held the three-tiered wedding
cake. Serving the cake wns
Mrs. Allen Johannes, sister of
the bride, and Mrs. David Stone
of Houston served the punch.
Assisting at the bride’s table
was Mrs. Joel Meador of Buda.
The bride's book was presid-
ed over by Mrs. Michael Pocn-
itzsch.
Included in the house party
were Mesdames T. J. Muenter,
J. J. Poenltzseh, John Schober,
John Braden, Art Means, Gar-
rett Buenger and Curtis Klbby,
Misses Terri and Brenda
Means and little Miss Peggy
Braden.
For travel, the bride chose an
off-white two piece suit of bon-
ded knit complemented by
brown alligator accessories.
Her corsage was the Cymbidi-
um orchid from her bridal bou-
quet.

The bride, entering with her
father, wore a formal A-linc
gown of peau de sole. The bo-

her tiered elbow length veil of
imported silk illusion. She car-
ried a cascade bouquet of white

trailing ivy and centered with
a Cymbidium orchid. Included
In the bouquet was the bride’s
paternal grandmother's cross
which she wore on her wedding
day. Her only jewelry was a
pair of diamond ear studs, a
gift of the bridegroom.
Attending the bride were
Mrs. Charles Cook of Port La-
vaca, matron of honor; Mrs.
Leonard Wenzel of Georgetown
and Miss Vcrda Mae Schober
of Cuero, bridesmaids, and Miss
Laura Lee Johannes of Max-
well. neice of the bride, junior
bridesmaid. They wore floor
length gowns of rouge velvet
designed along empire lines
with bell sleeves. The high
neckline and sleeves were trim-
med with white fur and their
headdresses were matching
rouge velvet bows. Each carried
a white fur muff on which was
pinned a single red rose.
Serving as best man was Bob
Mueller of Brenham. Grooms-
men included Billy Parks and
Dwight Schomburg of Yoakum.
Junior groomsman was Dennis
Winkler, the groom’s nephew
of La Grange. Ring bearer was
