The Huff Home Demonstration
; | Club met Tuesday at the home of
Mrs. George Decker.
Mrs. Ed Maag, the president,
presided. The club motto, creed
' and prayer were repeated and
“The Song of Peace’’ sung by the
group.
' An interesting perkd of recrea-
tion was enjoyed. Mrs. Decker led
the games.
The chicken supper that was
planned for next week was post-
poned ’til a later date. Instead a
weiner rcast was planned for Fri-
day evening, May 23, at 6 p. m.
at the club house. Everyone in the
community and their friends are
urged to come and bring their
weiners.
We had two guests, Mrs. Will
Mahler and Mrs. Alfred Laukhuf.
The subject for discussion was
household hints and short cuts.
Mrs. Decker served Cokes and
ccokies at the cIosq cf the meet-
ing.
The meeting adjourned until
May 27.

An inspiring program, “A pledge
j service," conducted by Mrs. Lucy,
was enjcyed by 16 members.
Mrs. E. E. Threet presented the
| devotional on ‘‘The Master at Sea.”
Mrs. Virgil Seay spoke on
Christian homes provided by the
WSCS” and Mrs. Zibba Matthews
followed, speaking on ‘‘Building
Christian communities.”
The business session included
plans for a party for the senior
class on Friday evening. May 16,
at 7:30 at the Methodist Church
with a ranch style meal and the
program to be arranged by Mrs.
Eld:n Cole.
The district meeting cf the
WSCS to be held in Burkburnett
on Wednesday cf this week, was
announced and a group of offic-
ers in the local society will attend.
The pledge service at the close
of the session, and prayer by Mrs.
T. L. Hilton, closed the meeting.
